You wouldn't stop if you don't know it's there. But you should, definitely.We just had the best lunch in Portugal, after coming several times in countless restaurants.Big portions, affordable food served with that "Mommy's" touch.

Amazingly delicious food, grumpy looking but very friendly! Value for price is on another level. sadly almost no customers.Only downside is parking and no card. And the next atm is 1km away.

Tasty food for a good price. Friendly owner who treated us with unexpected desserts and a taste of famous Port wine! Totally recommend for any hungry pilgrims on the Camino trail! Also good home made wine.

Excellent food. Perfect for pilgrims ( well worth the visit ). We ate some suckling pig in Sernadelo, at a renowned restaurant , but there is absolutely no way you can compare the food at this location to that. After this incredible meal, we ordered a magnificent dessert.This place tells a story about labeling. A family owned restaurant with very few customers, which many people walk pass thinking it’s another lousy diner. This experience was truly moving and worthy of a Michelin star!!

We visited Restaurant Lourenco as hungry pilgrims and left very satisfied. The pilgrim menu is great servicing both meat and eaters and vegetarians. Highly recommended. Please note the earlier review as the signage from the road is not very obvious.
